This is why it is doubly important I get back on the exercise wagon. Yes, sadly, I fell off at some point around Labor Day weekend. (I clearly blame the cookouts, and cold beers)... No blame, no pressure, no negative energy (after all, do you have any idea how hard it is to get motivated to exercise after a 72 hour
So, today it is... the start of the 30 Day Shred (again!). We are approaching the half way point of our Biggest Loser competition, and I really want to show some healthy results these last 6 weeks. Seeing as how I not only feel better when I get moving, but I also find that I am much nicer to the people I see on a daily basis - I really need to get motivated and moving again.
Also, in my small period of self reflection - I am finding that I turn to food in stressful situations. Let me be honest, this week, I am having a complete "hungry meltdown" week. I feel like I am eating everything in site, and in turn, I am getting puffy. While thinking about what the hell could be causing this, I made the connection that we have been really busy at work, and the strain is being felt throughout the office. Coincidence... I think not! So today, I made sure I brought some good snack choices into the office, so I was not reaching for fatty snacks, or heading out to the drive through for a milkshake, or God forbid a large peanut buster parfait with extra hot fudge, spanish peanuts and whipped cream. (I'm not sure where that came from...as I swear I did not give in to my temptation...). So far so good... Just want this puffyness to go away.
BTW - who here knew that Google had a Google Health page/site? I most certainly didn't think I did, but once I checked it out again, I want to say I vaguely remember something. Well, good news - they have updated the site, and you can do much more with it than previously. I plan on checking it out this week, and seeing what all it has to offer. How about you?
Well, that is enough of a break for now... I'll be climbing back onto my wagon if you need me.
