Alittle Patience and a Great Workout

A few notes from my great workout today (20 minute full body, and 25 minutes arms and cardio):

  • I am getting through the easy mode better and better without panting like a dog and sweating like a hog.  (I will stick with it for the next 3 weeks though, again, easing back in)
  • I truly look forward to the cool down for the full body stretches alone.  It is amazing how a good stretch can make you feel!
  • I am starting to enjoy seeing my reflection in the tv.  It was hard to look at when I first started, and I am noticing I am taking up less space in the screen.
  • After 3 workouts that included lunges and squats, I feel like I should see results already (HA!) I am a sucker for instant gratification... something I need to work on.
  • I am starting to get really comfortable with lunges (I used to DESPISE lunges) - on the same note, I am starting to DESPISE side planks.
Overall, it is amazing how a good workout can make me feel like I can conquer the world!

Side note:  This was all needed after spending close to 7 hours working on our J and M laptop that I decided to try to repartition on my own.  4 hours trying to do it myself, 2 hours on the phone with Dell, and an hour finally figuring it out on my own and again, feeling like I can conquer the world.  I'm not out of the woods yet, have to do a full restart once I have everything loaded up... Cross those fingers peeps - we have a gig tonight!
