I ran the 5k in 42:45.63 with an average pace of 13:46. This is definitely not a PR, but it wasn't meant to be. I went into this race with one goal, and that was to run - no walk breaks - and aside from slowing to drink my water, I accomplished my goal.
I have 4 weeks until The Cleveland Marathon 10k, so I am really trying to work on my endurance overall with a couple of speed and hill workouts peppered in. I have a couple of long runs coming up that I am really looking forward to, and hill work just makes me feel awesome - so, that is that, as they say.

I really need to start paying attention for cameras when I am crossing the finish. |
In other news, I bought the biggest tomatoes at the market the other week.
And for some Monday fun, StinkerBelle is not amused by this "Catwoman" on this week's issue of EW.
What are you doing this week to make yourself/someone else smile?

Keep up the hard work on your training! 10K is a great distance. A beach race sound awesome -- but maybe better come June or July. :)
Warmer weather would have been nice (since it was mid-70's and sunny the day before!). Here's to hoping for some sun on May 20th!!
