I did it again...

I went and let three weeks go by without posting a single thing. I have to say, nothing huge has gone on in those last three weeks. But I'm here, so why not give you something.

Today was our last day of The Biggest Loser Competition 4.0. I am 4.2 lbs down from the last time I posted, just 2lbs shy of the 10 I wanted to lose this time around. But the good news is I have another round coming up in two weeks. So bring it on!

I'm still learning and adjusting to the Weight Watchers point plus system. But it is working. I have about two more months on my trial and plan to use them to the fullest.

I was doing really good with my "moving atleast 30 minutes a day" plan ... Well, before I went on a mini vacay to my sisters. Although I wouldn't count it as a loss, it is amazing how a 4 year old can run a grown up, self proclaimed hard partier down! I'll tell ya! We had a blast.

I got home and came down with a crazy flu for the next four days. This also got in the way or my moving for the second week in a row. I went from completing the first week of moving atleast 30 minutes a day for 7 days, to nothing. I really feel like the sudden stop played some part in the crazy flu. Who is to say, but I believe it none the less.

So now, I am here, the end of week three and I went walking once. But I am ready to hit it head on - back to my Wii, walking and good stretching. Getting primed for round 5 of TBL if you will.

On the homefront, J has been working all sorts of overtime and also working his days off. This leads to a cranky, overworked husband (rightfully so), but not good for a happy home. I guess I also have something to do with his stress level as it turns out I think I gave him the wrong dates for my family reunion this year. Oye! Add that to not being able to take a real beach vacation since our honeymoon three years ago and again this makes for a not so happy honey.

Sooo, he decides he wants to go for a week long trip to the islands (PIB people, not the beach) and the weeks he has a available, I cannot go. So in a nutshell, he does not get a vacation this year and I feel like it falls on me. Which, in all reality, it does. And I feel horrible, but I am not quite sure what to do about it. Advise?!

So there ya have it. The three week rundown and some homefront guilt. Good thing tomorrow is another day.

Keep it real peeps. G'night.
