Gone Fishin'

Ok, so not really - but I figured I would give my readers (?) something... Since Thanksgiving, life has been uber busy!
Did I really just use that word?!

Anyhow, life has been filled with my sister and the cutest niece ever coming home for a ten day visit. In which we filled those days with eating, visiting, shopping, lots of play, Brown's tailgates, more eating, boozing, visiting, Army Navy game, elephant dancing, unsuccessful visit with Santa, more play and many visits to Crane Lake (I'll have a mont blanc please... nevermind?!). Needless to say, we had a BIG time, and I miss them both dearly!

Since they left, Christmas seems to have whirled into town, and it has been a crazy train of decorating, tree trimming and family Christmas parties. Did I mention that one week from today, I will have a house full of family and friends... and I absolutely cannot wait! Until than, I still have some shopping to finish (two more presents and I am done!), baking to bake and a house to get in order. Not to mention a birthday dinner at my best girls house Friday, chili to make on Saturday, and our own Cleveland Browns game all day Sunday (starting at 7:30Am till ? - come on down and fill your belly and quench your thirst all while our Browns try not to embarrass themselves all over again!).

But that is OK. I am OK. There will be no stressing out this year, even if it all gets done by December 26th. I am OK with that. Because it is the holidays, and really, what would the holidays be if they weren't crazy, running around like a chicken with your head cut off for two weeks straight? And seriously, the holidays are my favorite season next to bar season and Browns season!, so again I say, I am OK.
