Well, we're home, and while I can't say we're ready to go back to work - it is time to get back into the swing of things. Vacations are bitter sweet in that sense, you enjoy the time away - yet coming home is always good (nice to sleep in your own bed, ya know?) But, once it comes time to go back to work - your ready for another vacation!
I can honestly say that I do feel refreshed and ready to take on the next couple of weeks before I am laid off for the summer. Maybe it is the knowing that I will be maybe part-time in the summer that has me feeling so refreshed. Although the pile of bills we came home to definitely said "Welcome back to reality!"

Monday we spent a fun-filled day at my aunt's annual Memorial Day cookout! The food was great, the karaoke was kickin' and the company was fun as ever! The weather did not look good in the morning, but the day turned out to be quite beautiful. We have been lucky for the past many years when it comes to weather - one can only think we have many loved ones upstairs looking down on us!
In other news, my lovey got a new truck today - a Chevy Silverado. It is a great looking truck (although not so great with gas!) and he is super excited. This is the first time he has owned a truck, and we're still not sure it will fit into the garage - but that just works in my favor! I still am as confused as ever as to what to do about my car - I love my Malibu Maxx - but the lease is up end of June and the question is looming... To buy or not to buy! Unless I find something in my price range (=CHEAP) which is not looking good, I am going to have to buy. Which is fine, but the dealer is doing everything they can to get that car from me (they love the low, low mileage and the Maxx is in demand right now). This week, atleast whats left of it, I have to explore my financing options to see what will happen. Wish me luck!
Well, time for bed - Back to work tomorrow!
